Sales & Consultancy

I've always believed that good sales isn't about convincing people - it's about working out whether something is genuinely right for them. If it is, brilliant. If it isn't, I'd rather say so early and save everyone the time. Life's too short for awkward relationships where nobody's getting what they need.

Before Local Foundry, I spent years at Silktide, where accessibility was baked into everything we did. That time gave me a deep appreciation for what it actually means to build something that works for everyone - and a pretty sharp eye for spotting when a website is quietly letting its owner down. I came away understanding that the gap between a good digital presence and a poor one is often smaller than people think, and the impact is much larger.

What I genuinely enjoy is getting under the skin of a business - understanding what makes it tick, what its customers actually value, and where the real opportunities are. That's the conversation I want to have. Not a pitch, just an honest look at what's going on and whether we can help.

Outside of work, you'll find me somewhere in Devon or Cornwall getting some sea air, or in the garden with a kettlebell. Sometimes both in the same week, if I've planned it right.
